Modern libraries include digital resources which allow students to explore information beyond books and print materials. This year, as part of the BYOD initiative, we have made these resources available to your students and the high school library is focused on assisting students as they gain the information literacy skills they need to be successful at Trail and beyond.
Students moving on to college or trade school must be able to access the information they need and be able to determine whether that information is worthwhile. By adding BYOD to our district, we will help our students use these new digital resources, such as: I encourage you to explore these incredible resources with your students. †
With apps and online programs, students now create information and knowledge to share with their peers and their teachers. Our new BYOD policies are making these changes possible.
